How to swap concert tickets with Swoppd
Swoppd helps fans find other fans who have the opposite ticket problem. You might have tickets for the right artist but the wrong date, city, show or ticket type, while another fan needs exactly what you have and has something you would accept in return.
If the official ticket provider allows legitimate transfer, Swoppd helps both fans organise the swap, record what has been agreed and add protection before tickets move. The tickets themselves stay within the provider's official transfer process. Swoppd cannot override an event or provider rule that makes a ticket non-transferable.
Match with the right fan
When two fans have opposite ticket needs, one can make an offer and the listing owner can decide whether to accept it.
Follow the Swoppd process
Both users agree the same refundable SwopLock amount and accept the recorded Swap Contract before either person sends a ticket.
Use the official ticket provider
Where transfer is permitted, each fan sends their ticket through the provider's official transfer system. Swoppd does not hold or transfer the ticket itself.
Complete the swap
Once both sides confirm receipt, the protected exchange can complete and eligible SwopLocks move through the refund process.

Official transfer rules still decide what can move.
When tickets can be swapped
A Swoppd swap can work when both tickets can be legitimately transferred to the other fan through the relevant official provider. Transfer may open later than the original sale, so check the provider's current event rules before committing.
When tickets cannot be swapped
If the event or provider does not permit ticket transfer, Swoppd cannot make that ticket transferable and will not suggest a workaround. Personalised or otherwise non-transferable tickets should not be put into a protected swap.
What if Ticket Transfer is not available yet?
Transfer being unavailable today does not always mean it will never open, but the official provider's rules are the source of truth. Do not assume Swoppd can override them.

Is Swoppd a ticket resale marketplace?
No. Swoppd is designed for ticket-for-ticket swaps between fans. You match with someone who wants what you have and has something you would accept in return.
How does Swoppd make swapping safer?
You are not just agreeing a swap in a private message and hoping for the best. Swoppd records what each person agreed to exchange, keeps the key transfer steps together and gives both users a clear protected process to follow.
What is a Swoppd Trust Score?
A Trust Score helps you understand who you are swapping with before you agree. It brings together active signals such as optional live ID verification, successful swaps, profile completeness, feedback and confirmed account outcomes into one simple score. Phone verification is not currently an active Trust-scoring feature.
What is SwopLock?
SwopLock makes the exchange less dependent on trusting a stranger. Before either person sends a ticket, both put down the same refundable amount. Complete the swap and both SwopLocks are returned. If there is a qualifying problem, the swap enters Swoppd's protected issue process.
What if something goes wrong?
Swoppd keeps the agreed exchange, messages and important transfer steps together. An Issue can be raised and worked through first, with formal human-reviewed dispute handling available when a problem genuinely needs escalation.
