Fontaines D.C. 2027 UK tour: dates, ticket sale times and what fans need to know

Fontaines D.C. are going considerably bigger in 2027.

After selling out much of their November 2026 UK arena run, the band have announced five outdoor headline shows for next summer, taking in Cardiff, Newcastle, Manchester, Glasgow and London.

Little Simz and Viagra Boys will support across the run, which includes a Saturday night at Manchester's Heaton Park and a closing show at London Stadium.

For anyone planning to try for tickets, here are the dates, presales and sale details worth knowing before the queues open.

The five newly announced shows are:

• 29 June 2027, Blackweir Fields, Cardiff
• 1 July 2027, St James' Park, Newcastle
• 3 July 2027, Heaton Park, Manchester
• 6 July 2027, Glasgow Green, Glasgow
• 9 July 2027, London Stadium, London

Fontaines D.C.'s official live page lists all five dates, while Live Nation confirms Little Simz and Viagra Boys as support across the run.

These are not small additions to an existing arena tour. They are a clear step up in scale, taking the band into some of the UK's biggest outdoor spaces after a run of sold-out arena dates.

When do Fontaines D.C. 2027 tickets go on sale?

General sale begins at 10am on Thursday 10 September 2026.

There are opportunities to buy before then.

For the London Stadium show, Ticketmaster currently lists an artist presale from 10am on Tuesday 8 September, alongside an O2 Priority presale opening at the same time.

Live Nation's presale begins at 10am on Wednesday 9 September.

Presales and eligibility can vary by show and ticket provider, so check the individual event page for your chosen city rather than assuming every presale applies everywhere.

Why demand could be heavy

There is a fairly obvious reason Fontaines D.C. have graduated from arenas to places such as Heaton Park and London Stadium.

Their November 2026 UK arena tour has already sold out across several cities, including Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham and London.

That does not automatically mean every 2027 outdoor show will disappear immediately. These are much larger venues, and the number of tickets available will be very different.

Still, if you are set on a particular city, it would be sensible not to treat the sale casually.

The five-date run also creates another decision: which show should you actually buy?

London might make the most sense now. Manchester might suit your friends better. Newcastle could be the easiest journey today, only for work, holidays or festival plans to make another date more convenient by next summer.

With the shows still around ten months away at the point of sale, plenty can change.

What if you buy tickets for the wrong date or city?

Buying a ticket does not necessarily mean you will be stuck with exactly that show forever, but you should never assume a digital ticket can automatically be transferred.

Ticketmaster says the event organiser decides whether and when Ticket Transfer is enabled. For some events, transfer can become available closer to the show rather than immediately after purchase.

That matters if your plans change.

Imagine you have Manchester tickets but later realise London works much better. Somewhere else, another fan might have London tickets and need Manchester instead.

For now, though, the most important deadline is much closer: general sale at 10am on Thursday 10 September.

If the band's recent arena sales are anything to go by, deciding which city you want before 9:59 is probably a better plan than working it out once you are already in the queue.
