Are Oasis touring in 2027? What the new teasers really tell us

Oasis have spent the last few days doing what Oasis do particularly well: saying almost nothing and sending everyone into a frenzy anyway.

Three cryptic videos have now appeared through the band's official social channels. One seems packed with references to Glasgow. Another has Manchester City clues hiding in plain sight. The latest has pushed the speculation beyond Britain entirely.

The obvious conclusion is that something is coming for 2027.

The less obvious question is what, exactly.

Are Oasis touring in 2027?

At the time of writing, Oasis have not published a confirmed 2027 tour schedule on their official website.

That distinction matters.

There is now plenty of evidence that more live activity is being teased, but there is still a gap between an official clue and an official concert announcement.

The band's first recent teaser appeared on 3 September. According to Radio X, the video was littered with Scottish references, including details fans interpreted as pointing specifically towards Celtic Park in Glasgow.

A second video arrived the following day and immediately shifted attention to Manchester.

This time, two boys were shown playing football beside a red-brick house. One chalked up a tally that reached 12, while other visual details appeared to reference Manchester City.

That has led to widespread speculation about Oasis playing the Etihad Stadium, potentially across a substantial run of dates.

Then came teaser number three.

The latest clue points beyond the UK

The third video, posted on 5 September, complicated things.

Radio X reported that the clip includes a left-hand-drive car, German-language radio commentary and audio connected to Oasis playing Munich in 1997.

That has led fans to wonder whether the eventual announcement could be much larger than a handful of British stadium shows.

None of that confirms a European tour.

It does, however, make one thing increasingly difficult to dismiss: these videos appear to be part of a deliberate sequence, and live dates are the obvious thing they are building towards.

What about the Etihad?

Manchester is currently one of the strongest pieces of the puzzle.

The second teaser appears carefully constructed around Manchester City imagery, and the most eye-catching detail is the tally of 12.

Some fans have taken that literally and suggested Oasis could play 12 dates at the Etihad Stadium.

That would be an extraordinary run, so it deserves a large dose of caution.

The clue itself is real. The interpretation is not yet confirmation.

There is currently no official Oasis announcement stating that 12 Etihad shows will happen, nor are there confirmed ticket dates or prices to work from.

Still, if the eventual answer is a multi-night Manchester residency, the teaser will look considerably less cryptic in hindsight.

Is Oasis at Celtic Park happening?

Glasgow looks similarly deliberate.

The first teaser featured several Scottish references, with fans spotting details that appeared to point towards Celtic Park.

Again, there is an important difference between Oasis deliberately hinting at Scotland and a confirmed Celtic Park booking.

As things stand, no official Oasis tour announcement has confirmed a date at the stadium.

That may sound overly cautious when the clues seem obvious, but ticket rumours move extremely quickly. Once a venue name starts circulating widely, it can begin appearing in social posts and search results as though somebody has actually announced it.

They have not, yet.

And what happened to the Knebworth rumours?

Knebworth has been attached to Oasis 2027 speculation for months.

The obvious reason is history. The band's two Knebworth shows in August 1996 became part of Oasis folklore, and 2026 marked their 30th anniversary.

There has also been reporting around the possibility of future shows there, but the recent official teasers have not simply screamed "Knebworth".

In fact, the Glasgow, Manchester and possible European clues suggest something broader.

A Knebworth return may still form part of whatever happens next. It should not currently be treated as a confirmed Oasis 2027 date.

What is actually confirmed?

Right now, the safest way to separate fact from excitement looks like this:

• Confirmed: Oasis have posted multiple cryptic teasers through their official channels.
• Confirmed: those videos contain clues strongly associated with Scotland, Manchester and Germany or continental Europe.
• Confirmed: Liam Gallagher has previously indicated that further Oasis activity would not happen before 2027.
• Not confirmed: a Celtic Park concert.
• Not confirmed: 12 Etihad Stadium dates.
• Not confirmed: Knebworth.
• Not confirmed: ticket sale dates, prices, presales or transfer rules for any possible 2027 shows.
• Not confirmed: a complete Oasis 2027 tour.

That list could change very quickly.

For now, anyone claiming to have the full dates, ticket prices or guaranteed presale information is running ahead of the band.

Why this matters before tickets even exist

If Oasis do announce several shows in the same city, things could get messy very quickly.

The Live '25 reunion proved how much demand exists. A future run with several Manchester nights, several stadiums or dates across different countries would give fans more opportunities to get tickets, but also more opportunities to panic-buy whichever date appears first.

That is fine until your friends get a different night.

Or the Friday you grabbed turns out to be impossible.

Or Manchester looked sensible in September but Glasgow suddenly works much better by the time the gig arrives.

That is where the number of dates starts to matter just as much as the size of the tour.

But the most interesting thing about the story right now is also the thing worth remembering: Oasis still have not actually told us the dates.

That is likely to change.

Until it does, Celtic Park is a clue, the Etihad is a clue, Knebworth is a rumour and any ticket sale date you see floating around is not something to plan your morning around just yet.
